Interested in integrating iPads and other tablets into your library services? Join North Central College's Oesterle Library and the LIBRAS Collection Management SIG for an ALA TechSource webinar/workshop to learn about the experiences of three Virginia Tech librarians who built a tablet program at their own library. Read more about the webinar here http://goo.gl/D4dmk.
The webinar takes place on two consecutive Thursdays, March 14th and 21st at 1:30 pm. Each session is slated to last one hour and will be followed by conversation with your LIBRAS colleagues. Depending on interest, we can plan to meet-up at one of downtown Naperville's many restaurants for lunch beforehand.
Please RSVP at the following address by Tuesday, March 12th and indicate your interest in meeting up for lunch on one or both dates http://goo.gl/fY6Ge. Further information about lunch will be sent out before March 14th once interest is gauged. While this is designed as a two part webinar, please indicate if you only plan to attend one of the two session.
Oesterle Library is located at 320 E. School St., Naperville, IL 60540 and surrounding on-street parking is available (both webinars fall during NCCs spring break so on-street parking is much more readily available!). Questions about this event can be directed to Aimee Walker (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Emily Prather-Rodgers (email@example.com).
